Job Requirements

  • Must have ServSafe certification
  • Experience baking in large quantities
  • Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, inventory rotation, ordering, record keeping, safety, and cleaning protocols
  • Experience with institutional food prep equipment
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Must pass a criminal history check
  • Ability to work full time
  • Willingness to complete probationary period as required

Job Duties

  • Prepare baked goods including breads, desserts, and bulk items for daily meal service
  • Manage inventory rotation and large scale ordering for baking supplies
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Operate institutional food preparation equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of production, sanitation, and safety schedules
  • Assist in setting up for catered events as needed
  • Participate in deep-clean scheduling and tracking of kitchen areas
