Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • successful completion of criminal history check
  • availability to work Thursday to Monday mornings and evenings
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • valid Utah Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain certification
  • ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • commitment to maintaining food safety standards
  • reliable and punctual work attendance

Job Qualifications

  • experience working in food service catering or commercial kitchen setting
  • ability to prepare large-batch meals
  • knowledge of cleanliness safety and food presentation standards
  • flexibility and dependability in work schedule
  • strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • possession or willingness to obtain Utah Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe certification
  • physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay active throughout shift

Job Duties

  • assist in day-to-day kitchen operations including meal preparation
  • serve food to soldiers and staff
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining facility and kitchen areas
  • comply with all food safety and health regulations
  • prepare large-batch meals efficiently and collaboratively
  • adapt to changes in staffing and menu as needed
  • uphold a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with team members and service members
