Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain Food Handler's permit if not already possessed
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, and lift moderately heavy items up to 50 lbs
- Age 19 or older preferred
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Good communication skills

- Food handler's permit or ability to obtain while working
- Experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and food preparation instructions
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 50 lbs
Job Duties
- Cooks, bakes, or serves regular and/or special meals to clients and/or staff
- Ensures that food is maintained at appropriate temperatures
- Prepares salads and garnishes and assists in basic food preparation or ordering
- Distributes food using appropriate food handling and sanitation techniques
- Practices of food safety and public health protection
- Maintains inventory
- Tracks receipts
- Cleans, sterilizes and or disinfects areas and/or equipment
- Uses cleaning agents, products and equipment
