Job Requirements

  • minimum 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food service environments preferred
  • ability to work during scheduled daytime shifts
  • ability to comply with union regulations
  • ability to maintain sanitation and food safety standards
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a high volume, fast paced food service environment preferred
  • ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • capability to follow detailed procedures and instructions

Job Duties

  • perform sanitation and food safety activities in assigned areas
  • provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and employees
  • represent the organization in a positive manner
  • follow all policies and procedures related to food service
  • support differentiated assignments including patient services, dining services, and cleaning/sanitation
  • maintain cleanliness and orderliness of food service areas
  • collaborate effectively with nutrition staff and other departments
