Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to obtain Food Handler's Certificate within 30 days
- Reading, basic math, and written English skills

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No experience required but food service experience preferred
- Food Handler's Certificate within 30 days required
- Ability to read, perform basic math, and use written English

Job Duties
- Serves food on cafeteria and patient tray lines utilizing good customer skills
- Assembles, delivers and retrieves patient trays
- Documents food delivery times and food tallies including temperature checks
- Performs simple food assembly such as preparing salads, portioning and garnishing
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment, wares, walls, and floors routinely
- Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Labels and dates foods according to HACCP standards and follows sanitation and safety guidelines
- Collects and delivers floor stock utilizing FIFO system and delivers between meal nourishments and late trays
- Maintains assigned areas and equipment in a safe, clean, neat, and orderly manner
- Disposes of trash and garbage according to standards and procedures
- Performs other job duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
