Job Requirements
- must be able to read, write and speak English
- ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control protocols
- ability to use knives, large food production equipment and tools
- ability to use cash register and make change
- high school diploma preferred but not required
- six months experience in food services preferred but not required
- knowledge of modified diets helpful

Job Duties
- prepare and serve salads, sandwiches, desserts, supplemental and enteral feedings and snacks using tally sheets and recipes
- log hot and cold food temperatures on trayline as well as refrigerator and freezer temperatures
- deliver meal carts and late trays for patients to nursing stations
- perform cleaning tasks including detailed cleaning, washing dishes, and cleaning pots and pans
- stock and clean work areas
- work on patient trayline including set-up, service, breakdown and sanitation
- operate cash register and assist with cafeteria line and dining room cleaning
