Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and understand sufficient English to perform the position requirements
- Possession of San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Must be able to perform essential physical job requirements
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and understand sufficient English to perform the position requirements
- Quantity or institutional food service experience preferred
- Demonstrated age-specific competency regarding food preparation and service
- Possession of San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Ability to perform essential physical job requirements
Job Duties
- Perform essential job functions of the Nutrition Services department
- Follow Ambassador Service procedures and dish room activities to support all aspects of food service for patients
- Wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils meeting all sanitation standards
- Dispose of trash and refuse and sanitize containers properly as assigned
- Serve a variety of food items to patients, employees, and guests
- Maintain sanitation of work area
- Perform other related duties as required
