Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and understand sufficient English to perform the position requirements
  • Possession of San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire or transfer
  • Must be able to perform essential physical job requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and understand sufficient English to perform the position requirements
  • Quantity or institutional food service experience preferred
  • Demonstrated age-specific competency regarding food preparation and service
  • Possession of San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire or transfer
  • Ability to perform essential physical job requirements

Job Duties

  • Perform essential job functions of the Nutrition Services department
  • Follow Ambassador Service procedures and dish room activities to support all aspects of food service for patients
  • Wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils meeting all sanitation standards
  • Dispose of trash and refuse and sanitize containers properly as assigned
  • Serve a variety of food items to patients, employees, and guests
  • Maintain sanitation of work area
  • Perform other related duties as required
