Job Requirements
- hs diploma or equivalent education/experience
- basic food production and food service knowledge
- ability to use food service equipment and supplies
- knowledge of maintaining a safe food environment including cleaning procedures
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- sufficient mathematical ability
- ability to meet deadlines and multitask
- strong customer service skills
- uphold patient protected health information privacy

Job Duties
- perform general kitchen duties including food preparation and storage
- clean and store dishes, utensils, and pots
- maintain general department sanitation
- follow department policies and recipes accurately
- prepare and serve snacks and meals to patients and visitors
- assist in tray line, cafeteria, dish room, host/hostess, or catering functions
- communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
