Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • food handler's certification as required by Arizona state regulations
  • ability to work evening shift
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • excellent attention to detail
  • strong communication skills
  • reliable and punctual
  • willingness to comply with all food safety and hygiene standards
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • prior experience in food service is desirable but not mandatory

Job Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of experience in food preparation or food services
  • basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
  • strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and sanitation standards

  • physical ability to lift and carry food trays, pans, and other items

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding vegetables and fruits
  • transport pans, kettles, and trays safely between workstations
  • properly store food following wrapping, dating, and FIFO procedures
  • utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure food quality and portion control
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • set up and monitor serving line, recording food temperatures and notifying chef of deviations
  • serve hot and cold food items to customers professionally
  • stock pantry items and refrigerators with correct inventory levels daily
  • assist in preparation and delivery of meal trays
  • collaborate with team members to support efficient food service operations
  • perform other assigned duties
  • maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • comply with all policies and standards
