Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- willingness to learn food service operations and complete training
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking
- valid Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable transportation, and state-minimum auto insurance (must meet La Causa driving standards)
- ability to pass TB test, drug screening, physical exam, and all criminal background checks
- flexibility to work hours based on program needs
- positive, team-oriented attitude

Job Duties
- assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring food meets quality and freshness standards
- stock, arrange, and prepare food and beverages for daily service
- set up food carts and help with serving and cleaning up after meals
- maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly kitchen and cafeteria environment
- ensure equipment and utensils are safe, clean, and in working order
- complete daily safety inspections of meal delivery vehicles when needed
- communicate and collaborate with staff, parents, and school partners
- attend meetings and professional development activities as required
- follow all mandated reporting duties related to child safety and welfare
- support the team by performing additional duties as needed
