Job Requirements
- Must understand oral and/or written instructions
- Must interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members
- Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract(s)
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate
- Ability to travel to various locations and work in different weather conditions
- Availability to work flexible hours including early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, crouching, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to comply with emergency operations work assignments
- Must be drug free and pass required drug testing
Job Qualifications
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers, government personnel, and coworkers
- Previous food service or custodial experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various job responsibilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Capability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting and mobility
- Basic safety and hygiene knowledge
Job Duties
- Safely perform contract food service duties as assigned by management
- Provide quality customer service at all times
- Follow oral and written instructions accurately
- Interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff
- Comply with organization screening requirements including background checks
- Travel to various locations and buildings as needed
- Adhere to emergency operations work assignments per customer protocols
- Work flexible hours including early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Handle physical tasks such as bending, crouching, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
- Maintain compliance with all safety and health protocols
