Job Requirements

  • None
  • must understand and communicate in English
  • ability to use computerized ordering systems
  • ability to obtain California Food Handler Training Certificate within 90 days of hire
  • valid California Non-commercial Class Driver's license if performing delivery
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • willingness to work varied shifts including late nights, weekends and holidays
  • comply with safety and food handling policies

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English adequately
  • proficiency in operating computerized ordering systems
  • ability to obtain and maintain California Food Handler Training Certificate
  • good interpersonal skills to work well with colleagues and customers
  • commitment to safe work behaviors
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Operate cash register and point of sale systems with proficiency and accuracy
  • serve customers, respond to inquiries and resolve basic issues
  • maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas including wiping down, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and trash removal
  • check non-food supplies and notify lead or shift supervisor of shortages
  • assist with receiving and restocking supplies
  • prepare beverages
  • assemble and serve cold food items per standards
  • wash dishes and kitchen supplies including operating dish and pot cleaning machines
  • adhere to food safety handling policies
  • perform drop-off or delivery services as needed
  • follow safety rules at all times
