Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid Food Handlers Card required by the city of Norfolk
- ability to perform physical tasks associated with food service
- availability to work full-time rotating swing shifts including weekends
- excellent customer service skills
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow food safety and hygiene regulations strictly
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- cashier experience preferred
- food service experience preferred
- customer service experience preferred
- valid Food Handlers Card as required by local health department
- ability to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
Job Duties
- prepare and assemble food according to dietary guidelines and customer preferences
- maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
- wash dishes and ensure sanitization
- work as a cashier handling transactions accurately
- meet utility needs within the food service area
- deliver nutritious meals to patients, staff, and visitors
- uphold food safety standards consistently
