Job Requirements
- completion of the twelfth grade or equivalent
- some commercial food service experience preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and carry items up to 31 pounds
- successful completion of department of justice criminal background check
- recent TB test within 60 days
- completion of mandated reporter and sexual harassment training
- possession of first aid and CPR certification obtained through in-person training
- pre-employment physical evaluation
- compliance with district nondiscrimination policies
Job Qualifications

- commercial food service experience preferred
- serve safe certification preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push objects up to 31 pounds
- manual dexterity to operate telephone and enter data
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- perform daily food service activities
- assist in the preparation of school meals
- serve meals to students and site staff
- perform routine cleaning tasks in school cafeteria, cooking kitchen, or production kitchen
- operate kitchen tools and utensils
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- follow safety procedures and protocols
