Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Receives and stores all food and supplies according to departmental protocol rotating stock and completing inventory as required
- Operates the dishwasher loading and unloading dishes and trays sorting and stacking washed items according to use and adding washing solution as necessary
- Changes water and cleans and sanitizes the dishwasher in accordance with established guidelines departmental policy
- Washes pots and pans and performs heavy cleaning duties including scraping scouring and rinsing of pots utensils and equipment
- Sweeps mops strips and buffs floors
- Collects and disposes of trash and transports trash to the disposal area
- Checks and records dishwasher and refrigerator temperatures in accordance with established health and departmental policies
- Wipes down tables chairs table tents and supplies fills and or wipes down the salt and pepper shakers in the public seating area of the cafeteria
- Refills the condiment racks in the serving area as needed
- Maintains the safety and sanitation standards of the department at all times
- Attends in services and other departmental meetings and training sessions as required including all line up meetings
