Job Requirements
- Must understand oral and/or written instructions
- Must interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members
- Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract(s)
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate
- Physical ability to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit to drive, and lift up to 40 pounds regularly, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to travel to various locations and work in various weather conditions
- Compliance with drug-free workplace policies and successful drug testing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or custodial services is a plus
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
- Ability to work flexible hours and various locations
- Commitment to safety and compliance with organizational policies
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new job duties
Job Duties
- Safely perform contract duties assigned by management
- Provide quality customer service at all times
- Learn all aspects of the food service job
- Interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members
- Follow emergency operations work assignments per customer requirements
- Adhere to schedules which may include early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekends, and holidays
- Handle cleaning chemicals and maintain sanitation standards
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed
