Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education diploma (ged)
  • basic food production and service knowledge
  • ability to use food service supplies and equipment
  • knowledge of safe food environment and cleaning procedures
  • proficiency in english for reading, writing, and speaking
  • basic math skills for recipe adjustments
  • ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • strong customer service skills
  • ensure patient privacy

Job Duties

  • perform general kitchen duties including food preparation and storage
  • clean and store dishes, utensils, and pots
  • perform general department sanitation
  • follow department policies and recipes to prepare and serve snacks and meals
  • support tray line, cafeteria, dish room, host/hostess, or catering
  • communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
  • adhere to regulations ensuring privacy and safety
