Job Requirements
- HS diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- ability to perform basic food preparation and cleaning
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- ability to use food service equipment safely
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards
- willingness to work varied shifts including weekends
- ability to handle frequent interruptions and multitask
Job Qualifications
- HS diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- basic food production and food service knowledge
- knowledge of maintaining a safe food environment
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- mathematical ability for measurement and portioning
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- strong customer service skills
- understanding of patient privacy (PHI) regulations
Job Duties
- Perform general kitchen duties including food preparation and storage
- clean and store dishes, utensils, and pots
- perform general department sanitation
- follow department policies and recipes to prepare and serve snacks and meals
- assist in tray line, cafeteria, dish room, host/hostess, or catering areas
- communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
- adhere to local, state, and federal regulations including patient privacy and safety standards
