Job Duties
- assist in the preparation distribution and service of patient and employee meals
- prepare and portion salads desserts beverages and special patient snacks
- set up and break down cafeteria food and supplies at each meal
- function as steam table server throughout the meal period
- wash dishes and trays and store them for future use
- assemble daily nourishment orders and transport them to patient areas
- maintain and clean all food preparation equipment
- participate in special cleaning projects
- exhibit knowledge of appropriate food handling techniques and sanitation rules
- attend appropriate in-service sessions
