Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
On-the-job training
Excellent customer service skills required
Serve Safe Certification preferred
HACCP preferred

Job Qualifications

Experience in customer service
Knowledge of food handling techniques and sanitation rules

Ability to attend in-service training sessions

Job Duties

Assist in the preparation, distribution, and service of patient and employee meals
Prepare and portion salads, desserts, beverages, and special patient snacks
Set up and break down cafeteria food and supplies at each meal
Serve as steam table server throughout meal periods
Wash dishes and trays and store them for future use
Assemble daily nourishment orders and deliver to patient areas
Maintain and clean all food preparation equipment and participate in special cleaning projects
