Job Requirements
- Food service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying heavy items
- Available to work varying days and hours
- Ability to comply with company service standards and safety procedures
- Must be able to work in an educational facility environment
- Ability to provide friendly customer service
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior food service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow recipes and production standards
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Prepares fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting and seeding
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients
- Carries pans, kettles and trays of food safely to and from work stations
- Stores food following wrapping, dating, safety and rotation procedures
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined service steps
