Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least one year food service or restaurant experience
  • Working knowledge of food borne illnesses
  • Superior standards for cleanliness
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to work without supervision
  • Ability to read and follow a recipe
  • Knowledge of 12 step recovery and Progress House function is helpful
  • Successful completion of drug screen, TB test and extensive background checks
  • Willingness to adhere to CDC COVID-19 safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals including main courses, salads, and desserts
  • Assist Food Service Manager and Assistant in kitchen duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas
  • Follow recipes accurately to ensure meal consistency
  • Adhere to safety and health standards
  • Monitor food supplies and report shortages
  • Support recovery program initiatives in the kitchen environment
