Job Requirements
- high school diploma preferred
- ability to walk extensively during shifts
- adherence to personal protective equipment protocols
- availability to work shifts varying between 6:30 a m to 3:00 p m and 10:45 a m to 7:15 p m
- willingness to work every other weekend and major holidays
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or ged preferred
- 0-1 years experience in food service preferred
- ability to walk extensively during shifts
- knowledge of meal delivery and food safety standards
- ability to follow dietary instructions accurately
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- deliver meals to patients who have placed their order through the Room Service program
- verify that meals are complete and comply with diet orders
- deliver meals to the correct patient
- follow personal protective equipment precautions before entering patient rooms
- clean work areas and assist cooks as needed
- walk extensively during shifts
- collaborate with the dietetics and nutrition team to enhance patient meal experience
