Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of previous food service experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Must comply with all sanitation and safety regulations
  • Ability to handle and store food safely
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to follow instructions and recipes accurately

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of two years of previous food service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Basic math skills for measuring and inventory
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepares food such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables
  • Weighs and measures designated ingredients
  • Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards
  • Stores food following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures
  • Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment
  • Utilizes approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control
  • Serves customers efficiently and friendly following steps of service
  • Resolves customer concerns and communicates with supervisor
  • Ensures compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control
  • Maintains sanitation and safety requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned
