Job Duties
- Prepares a variety of cold sandwiches and fruit and vegetable salads slices meats cheese and bread prepares assorted beverages
- washes cuts scrapes chops dices and peels raw fruits and vegetables for cooking
- performs various tasks in connection with the preparation of a limited variety of fast foods involving a grill microwave oven and or deep fryer
- places pizza shells in oven removes pizzas after designated time or when ready cuts pizza into slices as per portioning requirements
- removes pre-prepared frozen dough cookies and bakes them baste and top as specified
- sells cakes cookies and bakery products cuts large cakes into requested sizes or weights
- sets up serving counters with dishes glasses silverware and arranges salads desserts beverages stocks condiment stands and milk and ice cream cabinets
- removes soiled dishes from tables washes and sterilizes flatware glassware dishes and utensils
- maintains work area clean and sanitary adhering to all rules and regulations
- serves customers at counter receives orders serves food and beverages computes charges operates cash register collects and accounts for cash
- assists with putting away stock and restocking refrigerators and freezers
- may assist in training associates
- may requisition food items and receive merchandise assists in inventory taking
- may open and or close the location
- adheres to customer service standards with a neat appearance good manners suggests substitutes and informs customers of specials serves food attractively promptly and courteously furnishes receipts and thanks customers
- performs other related duties as assigned
