Job Requirements

  • Must have experience in the food service industry
  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, crawling, climbing, and lifting up to 70 pounds
  • must be able to work in extreme temperature environments
  • ability to follow personal hygiene and safe work procedures
  • must perform work without more than normal supervision
  • no substitution of education for experience for this position
  • must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items in the dining facility
  • operate kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
  • lift and move supplies and equipment up to 70 pounds
  • comply with personal hygiene and safety regulations such as wearing hairnets and clean uniforms
  • work under varying temperature conditions including heat from cooking equipment and cold from walk-in refrigerators
  • perform tasks with minimal supervision
