Job Requirements

  • Less than 1 year applicable experience
  • food handlers permit
  • ability to work 40 hours per week
  • availability for swing shift hours (11:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM)
  • ability to work weekends and rotating holidays
  • physical ability to be on feet for entire shift
  • willingness to collaborate with team members
  • positive attitude towards learning and growth

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food service or dishwashing desirable
  • ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines
  • strong customer service skills
  • positive attitude and willingness to work
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Handling, preparing, and serving food in accordance with written menu and sanitation regulations
  • restocking of cafeteria supplies
  • maintaining sanitation of work areas, dishes, and equipment
  • operating dishwashing equipment efficiently
  • ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
  • collaborating with kitchen staff to support meal service
  • assisting with general kitchen cleanliness
