Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to meet ADA standards
- Availability to work varying shifts including weekends
- Ability to perform physical tasks required by the job
- Must complete all required orientations
- Effective communication skills
- Compliance with health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Successful completion of site personnel general orientation
- Successful completion of department-specific orientation
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and HACCP
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with regulatory or accrediting agency standards
- Maintain established policies and procedures in food preparation
- Ensure confidential treatment of communications and records
- Stock cafeteria with appropriate foods
- Set up menu boards and update menus
- Know menu, portion sizes and direct customers to prices
- Work register and communicate customer concerns
- Utilize infection control practices
- Handle hazardous materials and dispose waste properly
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
- Perform routine and non-routine cleaning duties
