Job Requirements
- Must pass a background check from the jail
- Must have weekend availability, usually every other weekend
- Must be flexible with schedule when needed
- Must have great attendance and be on time
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must be able to take many steps in a day and stay busy
- Must understand the importance of food safety and cleanliness
- Must be able to handle demanding times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Any prior cooking experience, including home cooking, is a plus
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Job Duties
- Pass a background check from the jail
- Prepare and serve up to 75 easy to make quality meals
- Work weekend shifts, typically every other weekend
- Maintain flexibility with the schedule when needed
- Demonstrate great attendance and punctuality
- Keep the work area clean and observe food safety standards
- Stay active and productive throughout the shift
