Job Requirements
- Must pass a background check from the jail
- must have weekend availability
- flexible schedule when needed
- must have great attendance and be on time
- must have a positive attitude
- ability to take a lot of steps in a day and stay busy
- understand the importance of food safety and cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous cooking experience a plus
- positive attitude and strong work ethic
- ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety
- ability to work well in a team
- good physical stamina
- reliable attendance record
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve up to 75 quality meals daily
- maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
- adhere to scheduled shifts from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
- stay productive and physically active throughout shifts
- work in a separate kitchen area away from inmates
- maintain punctuality and reliability
- assist during busy or challenging times
