Job Requirements
- Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) is required
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- prior experience in food service preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- ability to understand and carry out oral and written communications
- ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with co-workers
- familiarity with POS system (cash register) preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve food according to health and safety standards
- operate point-of-sale (POS) system as needed
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
- follow oral and written instructions accurately
- work collaboratively with cafeteria staff to ensure efficient service
- maintain positive relationships with students and co-workers
- comply with all food handling and safety regulations
