Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- three years clerk experience preferably in a dining facility
- ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- willingness to follow food safety procedures and protocols

Job Duties
- help in preparation presentation and serving of specialty meats delicacies preserved foods cheeses salads breads and sweets
- weigh price and wrap selected foods on plates trays and in bags
- prepare food displays in counter cases and other display units
- greet customers take special orders and answer basic customer questions about specialty foods
- make hot and cold sandwiches fruit and vegetable trays salads and rotisserie chicken using prepared ingredients
- clean counters trays and wash dishes maintaining cleanliness of preparation work and display areas
- assist in measuring mixing baking ingredients prepare cook and decorate bakery items receive unload trucks and store stock
- take payment and make change for customers
