Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum age of 16 years
  • One year food service experience preferred
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Maintain professional relationships
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Basic food-handling skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service
  • Operate a cash register, receive payments of cash and charges from customers or employees, make change and issue receipts
  • Operate kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, season and knead foodstuffs
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • Set up stations with entrees, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and other food products and utensils
  • Provide general stocking duties in service areas
  • Discard soiled trays and assist with meal setup at bedside
