Job Requirements

  • No degree or diploma required
  • One to three months related experience or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to follow safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Ability to prepare hot food items in large volume
  • Ability to use cooking equipment like convection ovens, grills, braises, fryers
  • Ability to count money accurately
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Must be able to work night shift
  • Must be able to work scheduled 40 hours per week
  • Must perform duties in compliance with regulatory and operational standards

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling techniques
  • Experience in preparation of hot food items in large volume
  • Proper use of convection ovens, grills, braises, fryers
  • Creative food garnishing techniques
  • Ability to count money accurately
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Two years hot food preparation experience preferred
  • At least one year cashier or food handling experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepares hot and cold foods for patients and retail customers according to production sheets
  • Accurately follows standardized recipes for in-house production
  • Proper use of cooking and prep equipment
  • Follows safe food handling practices and maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
  • Notifies supervisors of equipment malfunctions and food preparation problems
  • Performs basic housekeeping duties and maintains clean attractive area
  • Relieves and trains other positions as assigned
  • Obtains necessary stock
  • Completes cashiering duties including opening and closing procedures
  • Balances cash register and completes deposit slips
  • Makes deposits and assumes accountability for cash balance
  • Processes charges including credit cards and cost center charges
  • Processes over-rings, refunds, and pay outs with supervisor approval
  • Prices merchandise, stocks, and arranges areas
  • Works independently to take customer orders and prepare special orders
  • Interacts socially with customers to develop repeat clientele
  • Addresses customer concerns and requests in a timely manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
