Job Requirements
- Food Handlers Permit required within 90 days of hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Effective communication skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Willingness to adhere to all sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Assist in planning and preparing menu options, including hot and cold entrees for patients, cafeteria, and catering
- Set up and maintain serving line in a timely manner, ensuring proper stock of menu options, service ware, and temperatures are within acceptable ranges
- Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment including but not limited to dishwasher, conventional stove, cooler, ice maker, etc., in a clean, efficient and safe manner
- Maintain cafeteria sitting rooms and beverage areas to ensure neatness and sanitization
- Ensure proper logging, charting, production sheets, and other documentation is adhered to for food safety and sanitation requirements
- Maintain and adhere to all sanitation standards
- Perform all other duties assigned within Food & Nutrition Services
