Job Requirements
- Minimum education level equivalent to high school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs independently and over 45 lbs with assistance
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends
- Must comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Must register with Selective Service if applicable
- Ability to obtain Hawaii Food Handlers Certificate within 14 days
- Must complete prescribed training
- Must be able to pass National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) background check
Job Qualifications
- Skill to perform tasks with several steps and use judgment in sequential tasks
- Ability to serve uniform individual portions under distractions
- Skill to perform simple arithmetic
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Working knowledge of common sanitation procedures
- Ability to uphold impeccable hygiene
- Ability to obtain Hawaii Food Handlers Certificate within first 14 days
- Availability to work at least three shifts per week
Job Duties
- Set up food service counters and side service stands with hot and cold food and beverages
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales
- Prepare quality beverages consistent with established recipes and presentation standards
- Use suggestive selling techniques to increase product sales
- Serve food and beverages in standard portions
- Operate cash register and manage cash transactions
- Clean and maintain equipment and customer service areas
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Follow store policies and procedures
- Provide world-class customer service with positive communication
- Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations
- Report workplace hazards and incidents promptly
- Support EEO program and sexual harassment prevention principles
- Perform other related duties as required
