Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED certificate preferred
- minimum one year of relevant barista experience in a high volume setting
- experience with food and beverage preparation
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- effective verbal and written communication skills

- ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment

Job Duties
- Sets up designated food stations
- prepares customer orders and services customers in an efficient manner within Retail Services
- carries out various cleaning and sanitation functions
- cleans and restocks work area and sanitizes equipment
- provides superior customer service in compliance with University Hospital’s Mission Statement and Five Star Service Program
- welcomes customers, informs them about specials or new items, answers questions and accepts orders and payments
- prepares beverages as requested by guests
- prepares food such as baked goods, grinding coffee, brewing coffee and tea
