Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or related field preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and bend
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Willingness to wear uniform and personal protective equipment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and safety practices

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Food service certificate as needed
- Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Experience in kitchen cleaning and maintenance
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
Job Duties
- Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
- Prepare daily reports verifying transactions
- Understand meal inclusions
- Ensure accurate and sanitary storage of food
- Serve food according to meal schedules and policies
- Use and care for kitchen equipment
- Timely prepare a variety of food items and beverages
- Add garnishments for visual appeal
- Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of kitchen equipment
- Adhere to all food safety regulations
- Follow uniform policy
- Communicate daily with manager about menu preparation
- Supervise food temperature requirements
- Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas
- Clean and sanitize equipment and counters
- Perform sweeping, mopping, and ware washing
- Maintain garbage collection and kitchen floor sanitation
- Perform other assigned kitchen duties
- Meet physical demands including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
