Job Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Obtain Certified Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire for Illinois facilities
  • Basic computer competency specific to software navigation
  • Commitment to safe food handling practices
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Availability to work hourly shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Basic computer competency for software navigation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months of customer service experience preferred
  • Certified Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire for Illinois facilities

Job Duties

  • Deliver dietary and nutritional needs to patients and staff
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen utensils, equipment, cafeteria, dining room, and assigned work area
  • Practice safe food handling processes during receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Follow facility policies and procedures related to food service
  • Support a positive dining experience for those served
