Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Obtain Certified Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire for Illinois facilities
- Basic computer competency specific to software navigation
- Commitment to safe food handling practices
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Availability to work hourly shifts
Job Qualifications
- Basic computer competency for software navigation
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Six months of customer service experience preferred
- Certified Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire for Illinois facilities
Job Duties
- Deliver dietary and nutritional needs to patients and staff
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen utensils, equipment, cafeteria, dining room, and assigned work area
- Practice safe food handling processes during receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Follow facility policies and procedures related to food service
- Support a positive dining experience for those served
