Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service or healthcare food preparation preferred
  • Ability to follow written instructions accurately
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID 19 or have a certified exemption
  • Availability for evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning and kitchen setup

  • Experience with proper food safety and sanitary procedures are preferred
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID 19 virus or be exempt from the requirement by signing a statement certifying exemption

Job Duties

  • Provide support for the main kitchen of the Food & Nutrition Department including set up all stations and perform positions
  • Break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized
  • Perform floor stock procedures
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces according to procedures
  • Assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale
  • Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions
  • Performs other reasonable duties as assigned
