Job Requirements

  • Must have six months food service work experience
  • Must have six months cashiering experience
  • Must have superior customer service skills
  • Must be familiar with quantity cooking and food preparation methods
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to move carts and transport boxes up to 40 lbs
  • Must assist with deliveries, stocking and rotating items
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must submit a resume
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Six months food service work experience
  • Six months cashiering experience
  • Superior customer service skills and initiative
  • Familiarity with quantity cooking and food preparation methods
  • Ability to follow through with tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred one or more years’ experience in food service
  • Experience with Point of Sales systems
  • Knowledge of food service operations policies and procedures
  • Experience with food service equipment
  • Experience in catering services

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service and assistance to students, faculty, staff and guests in the Café and/or Catering events
  • Preparation and service of food – daily production, preparing food for line, working the grille, fryer, front window, setting up stations and checking for proper serving temperatures, serving proper portions
  • Cashiering – checking entire order and repeating what the customer is paying for, processing cash, credit card, gift card, house charges
  • Stocking of all items for Café / Catering
  • Catering service and assistance
