Job Requirements
- Food service experience in food or hospitality service operation or institutional food service role
- Equivalent combination of education in restaurant, catering, or retail operation and/or sanitation and dishwashing experience
- Customer service experience
- Able to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal and stressful conditions
- Current food handler's certificate/card for applicable county/state

- Tray-line or room service experience is a plus
- Basic familiarity with computers preferred
- Current food handler's certificate/card for applicable county/state
Job Duties
- Prepare and assemble patient food trays and carts according to department standards
- Perform routine cleaning and stocking of pantries and kitchen areas
- Follow established recipes and label and date all prepared and stored food items adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Provide excellent service in cafeteria and during special events engaging with guests and staff professionally
- Prepare grilled foods and serve meals according to order specifications
- Work effectively with other staff to deliver quality meal service on time and in accordance with safety protocols
- Handle multiple tasks and maintain composure in fast-paced or stressful situations
- Ability to bend, squat, stand, and walk for extended periods
