Job Requirements

  • Food service experience in food or hospitality service operation or institutional food service role
  • Equivalent combination of education in restaurant, catering, or retail operation and/or sanitation and dishwashing experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Able to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal and stressful conditions
  • Current food handler's certificate/card for applicable county/state

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience
  • Able to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal and stressful conditions
  • Tray-line or room service experience is a plus
  • Basic familiarity with computers preferred
  • Current food handler's certificate/card for applicable county/state

Job Duties

  • Prepare and assemble patient food trays and carts according to department standards
  • Perform routine cleaning and stocking of pantries and kitchen areas
  • Follow established recipes and label and date all prepared and stored food items adhering to safety and sanitation standards
  • Provide excellent service in cafeteria and during special events engaging with guests and staff professionally
  • Prepare grilled foods and serve meals according to order specifications
  • Work effectively with other staff to deliver quality meal service on time and in accordance with safety protocols
  • Handle multiple tasks and maintain composure in fast-paced or stressful situations
  • Ability to bend, squat, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • flexible with working hours and locations
