Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in food service or kitchen work is preferred
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or must provide valid exemption documentation
  • Must be able to work day and evening shifts including weekend and holiday rotations
  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • Strong commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

  • Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures is preferred
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or be exempt by signing a statement certifying exemption once hired

Job Duties

  • Provide support for the main kitchen of the Food & Nutrition Department including set up all stations and perform positions
  • Break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized
  • Perform floor stock procedures
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces according to procedures
  • Assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale
  • Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
