Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
- ability to read and communicate in English except pot-washer position
- physical ability to push carts and trucks
- must adhere to I.C.A.R.E. standards
- ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- standing walking frequently
- able to lift carry push or pull up to 35 pounds with assistance
- willing to work weekends
- onsite work required

Job Duties
- Attends department meetings monthly and training classes as assigned
- anticipates and meets customer needs and takes appropriate steps to rectify issues
- maintains cleanliness of work areas and sanitation of department equipment
- demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude
- adheres to all HACCP standards
- alerts supervisor to any concerns discrepancies or product shortages
- supports and upholds department goals to maintain or improve operations and customer satisfaction
- works in tray line cafeteria and kitchen positions including setting up and stocking food stations and assembling and delivering patient trays
- cleans station equipment and floors at the end of each meal
- may operate dish machine trash compactor and mop floors
- prepares additional food items for patient tray line
- participates in sanitation projects and assists with training and cross training of employees
