Job Requirements

  • Basic computer competency specific to software navigation
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
  • Ability to obtain Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days if working in Illinois
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Six months of experience in customer service preferred
  • Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire for Illinois facilities preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide dietary and nutritional needs to those served
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen utensils, equipment, cafeteria, dining room, and assigned work area
  • Practice safe food handling processes while receiving, storing, preparing and serving food
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Assist in food preparation and service as directed
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Support overall kitchen and dining operations
