Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food service or healthcare food preparation preferred
  • must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID 19 or have exemption documentation
  • ability to follow written instructions
  • reliable and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to perform duties involving lifting and standing for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • experience with proper food safety and sanitary procedures are preferred
  • must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID 19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying exemption
  • compensation pay rate determined based on level of experience

Job Duties

  • Provide support for the main kitchen of the Food & Nutrition Department including set up all stations and perform positions
  • break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized
  • perform floor stock procedures
  • clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces according to procedures
  • assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale
  • use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned
