Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- pass fingerprint criminal background check
- pass pre-employment drug screen
- registry checks including Client Abuse/Neglect Reporting System, Nurse Aide, Medication Aide and Employee Misconduct lists
- males 18-25 must be registered with Selective Service
- willingness to work weekends and holidays
- ability to work extended or unusual hours
- ability to lift 25 pounds
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- ability to work in hot or cold conditions
- ability to speak and read English
- able to follow instructions
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent
- paid or unpaid experience in food service work
- some work experience
- knowledge of food preparation methods and sanitation regulations
- skill in operation and sanitizing food service equipment
- ability to prepare and serve food
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- ability to maintain accurate records
Job Duties
- Attend work on a regular basis
- complete required training
- assist in preparation and portioning of special diets
- prepare scheduled snacks and maintain supply
- participate in food distribution following safety policies
- assist in serving food
- follow proper food handling according to guidelines
