Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • record of completion for all education, licenses, training, and/or certifications required at time of hire
  • able to follow all federal, state, and local food safety regulations
  • willingness to work rotating 1st and 2nd shifts
  • ability to comply with OSHA regulations
  • ability to work in a noisy kitchen environment with exposure to hot and cold temperatures
  • able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
  • increased security clearance required

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • prior food service experience preferred
  • excellent time management skills
  • strong organizational and critical thinking skills
  • ability to work independently and in a team
  • effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to adapt to a fast paced, fluid environment
  • increased security clearance required including FBI fingerprinting and criminal background check

Job Duties

  • Maintains a courteous, professional relationship with all organizational staff, patients, and families, and guests
  • sets up and dismantles assigned workstations including hot food, cold food area, salad bar, and coffee station
  • stocks and dismantles condiment areas, replenishes paper and china supplies, fills beverage machines, and brews coffee
  • sets up, operates, cleans, and dismantles dish machine
  • maintains merchandising in-service areas and replenishes vending machines
  • stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, storage, and rotation procedures
  • performs continuous cleanup of work areas, equipment, and utensils
