Job Requirements
- Food handlers card required within 30 days of hire for Banner Staffing Services members
- Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry boxes and supplies
- Ability to work in physical contact with cleaning chemicals
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

Job Duties
- Set up work station and prepare assigned foods and nourishments following procedures and quality standards
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas
- Maintain par levels of foods and supplies, restock and rotate food stocks
- Check and record food and equipment temperatures and report discrepancies
- Deliver meals, nourishments, and assist with catering or special events
- Handle transactions at cash register or cafe when applicable
- Interact with food service personnel, hospital staff, patients, and families while providing good customer service
