Job Requirements
- valid ServSafe certification preferred
- availability to work full time or part time including weekday and weekend PM shifts
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- willingness to comply with all food safety, sanitation and company policies
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or related role preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and food preparation procedures
- effective communication and customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- teamwork and cooperation skills
Job Duties
- prepares food including washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
- weighs and measures ingredients accurately
- carries pans, kettles and trays of food following safety standards
- stores food properly following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures
- cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
- distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- utilizes approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portion control
- serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- resolves customer concerns and communicates them to supervisor
- ensures compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
- complies with all sanitation and safety requirements
- performs other duties as assigned
