Job Requirements

  • valid ServSafe certification preferred
  • availability to work full time or part time including weekday and weekend PM shifts
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • willingness to comply with all food safety, sanitation and company policies
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food service or related role preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow recipes and food preparation procedures
  • effective communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • teamwork and cooperation skills

Job Duties

  • prepares food including washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
  • weighs and measures ingredients accurately
  • carries pans, kettles and trays of food following safety standards
  • stores food properly following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures
  • cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
  • distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
  • utilizes approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portion control
  • serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • resolves customer concerns and communicates them to supervisor
  • ensures compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
  • complies with all sanitation and safety requirements
  • performs other duties as assigned
